Stop Drinking Cold Brew and Drink Iced Americanos
If you know anything about me, I'm a fan of espresso/water drinks. I typically prefer a shot/double shot with about 3-4 ounces of water. My 'Stubby' recipe for the Aeropress is similar--a concentrate brew cut with hot water.
This morning I tried an Ethiopian SOE as an iced Americano and wondered what I've been doing with my life. Moreover, I've been wondering why I don't get into more conversations on the topic. I hear people all the time discuss their polarizing opinions on cold brew, sometimes venturing into the difference from a Japanese-style or hot brew over ice iced coffee method. Given my mood I'm fine with either, but this iced Americano (to me) is the best of both worlds: beautiful characteristics of the coffee accentuated with a viscosity you often find in a more concentrated cold brew. Fairly certain I've found my new go-to.
Co-host of the I Brew My Own Coffee Podcast and always has all the chocolate. I also love to play board games. Yea, let's go do that right now.
